Hold on to your handle bars, because there’s a new ride in town! The V Foundation for Cancer Research is happy to announce the first year of the Victory Ride. Set in the beautiful North Carolina landscape of Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, this event will raise money to fund vital cancer research grants. The ride is set for May 19, 2018 and we want you to be a part of it!
The V Foundation was founded in 1993 by ESPN and NC State basketball coach Jim Valvano. Jim’s “Don’t Give Up” spirit serves as the Foundation’s rallying cry in its mission to end the more than 100 diseases that are called cancer. With the help of generous friends, the V Foundation has awarded more than $170 million to life-saving cancer research. But cancer is still touching 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women in America. That’s why we need you on our team!
The Victory Ride is a fun way for you to be part of the movement. Just by riding your bike, you can help raise awareness and dollars to defeating cancer! With four different lengths, a Virtual Ride, and volunteer opportunities, everyone can find a way to join the excitement. So grab your friends, family or co-workers and create a team today for a fun adventure and important cause! Or sign up to make new friends and make a difference at the same time.
Registration for the Victory Ride is live now. Whether you are riding solo or creating a team, we are so excited you are riding with us toward victory over cancer!
