Why We Ride
The Victory Ride is no ordinary bike ride. Together, we are taking a stand. We are taking on cancer. We ride for the 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women who will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. We ride for those we love, and for those who cannot ride. We ride to celebrate the survivors and honor those we have lost. We ride to support research locally and throughout the U.S. We ride individually and as a community to defeat cancer.
The V Foundation for Cancer Research was built on the dream that cancer can one day be defeated. We need your help to continue funding breakthrough science aimed at discovering more and better treatments for cancer patients. We need your help to fund preventions, detections, and cures. We need your help today for a cancer-free tomorrow.
It is a long, steep hill we are on. That doesn’t scare us on the Victory Ride, because our hearts and minds know only one thing: Don’t give up . . . Don’t ever give up!® And no matter how long the ride or steep the hill, every mile and every dollar brings us that much closer to the ultimate finish line: victory over cancer.
